ALEX RANARIVELODIRECTOR

Alex is a prolific, visual, and versatile storyteller, he graduated at the top of his class with a B.F.A in film production from Art Center College of Design. Alex has directed 11 films of various genres for ESX Productions, most notably “American Wrestler” an inspirational sports drama that explores issues of immigration and xenophobia. It stars Jon Voight, William Fichtner and garnered multiple awards on the festival circuit including “Best Actor” for new comer George Kosturosalong with “Best Picture” and “Best Ensemble” at the Boston Film Festival and the Audience Award at both the Austin and Napa Film Festivals. His follow up, “The Ride”, starring Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges and Sasha Alexander, premiered on Amazon Prime in November 2020 to glowing audience reviews, where it held the top spot in “popular movies” for a week straight. Alex directed “Holiday in the Vineyard” for Netflix and two films for HBO Max, “A Hollywood Christmas,” and “A Christmas Mystery.”

Dan is currently COO of Inner Media Capital, a film finance and production company, which operates out of the Universal and Paramount lots in California and has delivered over 150 films with a zero loss model. Sheldon is a former talent agent at IAG representing some of the top actors in the industry effectively launching the careers of some of the most sought after talent in Hollywood. In 2019, he started producing while serving as Vice President of development and

production for Alta Global Media and then Play House Studios respectively. Sheldon has recently produced numerous feature film and TV shows such as “A History of the World in Six Glasses” starring Dan Akroyd; “FLUXX” starring Tyrese Gibson, “Guttermuckers” starring Jim Belushi, Leslie Jones, Bobby Lee and Lil Rel Howery, “Dead of Night” starring Dermot Mulroney and Scott Grimes, “And Love Knocked” starring Alexander Ludwig and Katherine McNamara. In addition, Sheldon is serving as Executive Producer on “Bruno Penguin” directed by Nick Cassavetes and starring Anthony Hopkins, Ben Foster and Shia LaBeouf which is the first of many exciting feature films on IMC’s slate for 2025 which also includes films with Spyglass Media Group as well as a Stan Lee written project named “Werewolf”.

BENJAMIN STEPHENPRODUCER

Benjamin brings over 10 years of experience as a producer and development executive with a track record of compelling content that blends high entertainment value with thought-provoking real world subject matter. 

From 2022-2024, Benjamin served as the Director of Content Development at Asylum Entertainment Group (now Pantheon), guiding projects in development deals with networks like Discovery, History, and Peacock. Previously, he spent 6 years with Pulse Films in their Non-Fiction department, where he produced two seasons of the docu-series BETRAYING THE BADGE (Vice), feature documentaries TOO SOON: COMEDY AFTER 9/11 (Vice) and COLLEGE SPORTS, INC (Vice), as well as true crime special THE CASE DIED WITH HER (Oxygen/Peacock). As a member of the development team, Ben also contributed to the sales efforts on documentaries including STAY ON BOARD: THE LEO BAKER STORY (Netflix) and a.k.a. MR CHOW (HBO). Prior to Pulse Films, as a freelancer Benjamin was a Segment Producer on BILL NYE SAVES THE WORLD (Netflix) and worked as an Associate Producer on unscripted TV series for industry leaders like Kinetic Content, Renegade83 and Oprah Winfrey Network. 

Ben and Jake first met playing on the same Little League baseball team together in Needham, Massachusetts. Go Mud Hens!

Christopher Nelson is a film, television, and commercials producer whose incredibly versatile career in hockey content production spans over four decades.

Among 70 credits, his most prominent titles include acclaimed sports film MIRACLE, Season Two of MIGHTY DUCKS: GAMECHANGERS on Disney+, TOOTH FAIRY starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Joel Schumacher’s BATMAN AND ROBIN, and THE LOVE GURU. He most recently served as the hockey technical advisor and appeared in Aline Brosh McKenna’s YOUR PLACE OR MINE starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher on Netflix.

Prior to taking his hockey expertise to Hollywood, Chris played several years of professional hockey in the National Hockey League (NHL) and American Hockey League (AHL). He was drafted into the NHL by the New Jersey Devils in 1988 and won the NCAA National Championship with Wisconsin in 1990 – the first African American hockey player to do so.

Chris was born in North Philadelphia and spent part of his childhood in upstate New Hampshire before settling in Los Angeles with his family. For so long, Chris sought to prove he belonged in the sport of hockey. Today, he has broken barriers and continues to be hockey’s most passionate advocate on and off the screen.

Chris has over a dozen on screen credits and has worked with producers from FX, Netflix, Warner Brother, CBS, and Nickelodeon.

Ms. Burman lives in Dover, MA with her husband and has four children. She became passionate about behavioral & mental health 10 years ago due to her own and her family’s struggle with anxiety and depression. She has publicly shared her message of empathy, advocacy and hope via meetings, speaker series and panel events. Samantha recently founded an advocacy group, “Families for Behavioral Health” and has started a number of parent support groups and provides assistance to countless people reaching out for advice. She has written articles and is close to completion of her book “Where is My Lasagna?”, which highlights the stigma often experienced by people and families suffering with mental health issues and offering lessons learned from her experiences.
