Alex is a prolific, visual, and versatile storyteller, he graduated at the top of his class with a B.F.A in film production from Art Center College of Design. Alex has directed 11 films of various genres for ESX Productions, most notably “American Wrestler” an inspirational sports drama that explores issues of immigration and xenophobia. It stars Jon Voight, William Fichtner and garnered multiple awards on the festival circuit including “Best Actor” for new comer George Kosturosalong with “Best Picture” and “Best Ensemble” at the Boston Film Festival and the Audience Award at both the Austin and Napa Film Festivals. His follow up, “The Ride”, starring Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges and Sasha Alexander, premiered on Amazon Prime in November 2020 to glowing audience reviews, where it held the top spot in “popular movies” for a week straight. Alex directed “Holiday in the Vineyard” for Netflix and two films for HBO Max, “A Hollywood Christmas,” and “A Christmas Mystery.”

Former APA talent agent Dan Sheldon joined Alta Global Media as a manager and producer in 2019. He served as VP of development and oversaw the company’s production slate of TV and film projects. He brings a tremendous amount of entertainment industry experience. Sheldon has managed business development for the Oscar- qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival, which is currently in its 19th year, and operates the festival’s production arm, 88th Street Productions. He is also an executive producer on two projects: Desmond’s Not here Anymore starring S. Epatha Merkerson and Yolanda Ross, as well as the feature film Stolen which he packaged alongside Ida Rose Productions and sold to Netflix/BET+.  He is a producer on the feature film FLUXX alongside Brendan Gabriel Murphy, Lance Paul, and Tanner Beard.

Ben has over 10 years experience in the film and television industry with a focus on documentaries. As a producer and development executive he has produced and developed projects such as Betraying the Badge (Vice), Too Soon: Comedy After 9/11 (Vice), College Sports, Inc (Vice), The Case Died With Her (Oxygen/Peacock), and Bill Nye Saves the World (Netflix). Previously Ben has been a development executive at Pulse Films and Asylum Entertainment Group. Ben and Jake first met when they were in elementary school on the same little league team (Go Mud Hens!).

Christopher Nelson is a film, television, and commercials producer whose incredibly versatile career in hockey content production spans over four decades.

Among 70 credits, his most prominent titles include acclaimed sports film MIRACLE, Season Two of MIGHTY DUCKS: GAMECHANGERS on Disney+, TOOTH FAIRY starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Joel Schumacher’s BATMAN AND ROBIN, and THE LOVE GURU. He most recently served as the hockey technical advisor and appeared in Aline Brosh McKenna’s YOUR PLACE OR MINE starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher on Netflix.

Prior to taking his hockey expertise to Hollywood, Chris played several years of professional hockey in the National Hockey League (NHL) and American Hockey League (AHL). He was drafted into the NHL by the New Jersey Devils in 1988 and won the NCAA National Championship with Wisconsin in 1990 – the first African American hockey player to do so.

Chris was born in North Philadelphia and spent part of his childhood in upstate New Hampshire before settling in Los Angeles with his family. For so long, Chris sought to prove he belonged in the sport of hockey. Today, he has broken barriers and continues to be hockey’s most passionate advocate on and off the screen.

Chris has over a dozen on screen credits and has worked with producers from FX, Netflix, Warner Brother, CBS, and Nickelodeon.

Ms. Burman lives in Dover, MA with her husband and has four children. She became passionate about behavioral & mental health 10 years ago due to her own and her family’s struggle with anxiety and depression. She has publicly shared her message of empathy, advocacy and hope via meetings, speaker series and panel events. Samantha recently founded an advocacy group, “Families for Behavioral Health” and has started a number of parent support groups and provides assistance to countless people reaching out for advice. She has written articles and is close to completion of her book “Where is My Lasagna?”, which highlights the stigma often experienced by people and families suffering with mental health issues and offering lessons learned from her experiences.
